It's no problem! I should have made it a bit more obvious.
I do actually play games for long periods of time like that occasionally, but it's not like I need to. A five hour battery life is going to be enough for most long car rides or breaks between class and such, and like Tyvon said, when you're at home you can just plug it into the wall. That's what I do with my DS lite, although that's mostly because I've played it so much it dies after a couple of hours.
