i'll continue with mgs2... then i will take a quick lesson on photoshop and i'll try to make a next-gen look on some characters like this little test i made using one texture sample on the internets
if you look the model rip of snake from mgs4 you will notice something: the polycount of the mgs4 ingame models is the same as the mgs2 ingame model, it makes sense, the diference is on the texture quality, now i truly appresiate they created during the ps2/ngc era, if they used photorealistic textures they mayhave looked like zombies.... but using some mgs4 grade textures (and maybe animation) and subdividing classic mgs1/2 characters will have a pretty neat apearence... that's what i think
