Split Reaction Time Attack Deaths were beaten out of me from Sonic Rush (which had them in abundance from a third of the way in to the very end; the sequel had somewhat fewer). Also I don't recall there being many in Unleashed, but I had the Wii version. Dunno about the 360 vers. Colours' double-jump was floaty and momentum-sapping, but levels accomodate that. What did kill me a lot on Colours were the 'Leap of Faith' side scrolling stages in Planet Wisp and Asteroid Coaster.
They're not perfect platformers by any means, but they're fun ones. And pretty easy to go back to and piss about on. I enjoy this school of platformer much more than say, Banjo Kazooie's slower collectathon type.
