Ripping from Grandia/Xenogears (PSicture)

VRAM should do the job at least for the portraits. I tried ripping per screens and it's horrible to handle the leftovers.

What could I have possibly done wrong with PSicture?

Nothing is wrong. Depending on the game, you get everything (Thrill Kill, Jade Cocoon, Eternal Eyes, Granstream Saga, etc.), a few parts (Grandia) or nothing (Wild Arms).
