I had Chao that had 3000+ in at least one stat. A few had two stats with 3000+. One was Swimming, one was Flying, one was Running, one was Power, and one was Stamina... and they were all extremely old. I think one was 15 Chao years or close to it, like the rest. I spent most of my time in the Dark Garden. (These Chao are old so the names are... kiddish) The Swimming Chao was Zoomer, Flying was Dusky, Running was Chasm, Power was Rotten (he had a normal egg shell on his head, so rotten egg ), and Stamina was Spooky with a skull on his head.
