I think I may have explained it all slightly wrong.
An example is of a bootleg copy of a game completely different to the original. Pokémon hacks are just pokémon games editted to be different pokémon games. We only really take things that are, say, The Smurfs editted to be a Pokémon game.
The bootlegs that completely change the theme of the game.
Otherwise there's 2000 Pokémon hacks on the market we can rip, and they all look like serious shit.
