Will people please stop calling this a remake? As far as I know, not even Nintendo is calling this a Remake. It's a straight-up port.

Whether people care about this or not is entirely down to how much they like Ocarina of Time. That is all.

You answered your own question. Using better textures and shaders does not automatically make old code new again. As far as I understand, the actual engine is unchanged. It was mentioned earlier in the thread that people have manged to recreate glitches from the original versions in this. Though I admit I don't know how much code-manipulation they'd have to do for Super Guide and Accelerometer additions.
