Would they even have to really change the spelling? It's not like one of you Yanks is gonna go "WHOA THERE'S A U THERE I DO NOT UNDERSTAND". I'm fairly certain I've played games that have used American spellings in the past~
I've never quite understood this sense of entitlement in gamer circles. It sure sucks when there's a game you're excited about and it turns out you can't get it easily, that I understand, but acting like a five year old yelling MUMMY MUMMY BUT I WANT IT WHY CAN'T I HAVE IT is ridiculous. Ultimately a game company has to make money. If they don't think something has a market in a particular country, it is their prerogative to not sell it there, regardless of whether or not you disagree. It's juvenile as fuck to expect a company to risk making a massive loss just to appease some neckbeards.
