MegaMan Legends 3...... cancelled.

I'm going to pose a question to all of you....

Not too long ago before MML3 Keiji Inafune himself said that Megaman Legends 3 needs a lot of money to see a start and release date. I can't remember where I read it, it might have been Rockman Perfect memories or an affiliate possibly it was an interview with Silconera, but I believe his words were "laugh I'd love Mega Man Legends 3 also, but I'd need a lot of money to get it done" when asked how much he replied with another laugh and said "slap me with American $300, 000 and I'll see it get done right."

Now...how does Vanquish out of thin air come make the money (cause it wasn't a huge print) but someone needs to slap the creator to get the Company backing him on the game?

There's something I'm not getting and I need someone to verify what that is.
