So my graphics card just died.
It's a couple of years old now and it's been run pretty hard, so that doesn't surprise me, what does surprise me is how instantly and totally dead it is.
Everything was running perfectly fine, no strange noises, no artifacts on the screen, wasn't even running hot and BAM. DEAD.
Not even a BSOD.
I actually thought my power supply had died, took me forever to track down the problem.
It's SO dead that the machine refuses to even power on if it's installed, gives me absolutely nothing, no fans, no lights, no beeps. Dead.
(before anyone asks, yes, I've tested everything, I'm actually running on exactly the same hardware but with an older graphics card right now.)
