Honestly I've never liked Butterfree's tutorials (the Pokemon ones). They're old, prioritize editing/recoloring and I honestly hate her description of selout (she calls it "dots")

Sadly I can't really recommend a 'better' tutorial, as the only ones I really know of are my own, the ones here on tSR and st0ven's (which are long-gone from the internet.)

I'd say just make something and post it, we'll try to help your individual skills and situation
