Spyro the Dragon Sound FX

Today I was able to extract the sound FX from Spyro The Dragon with PSound SoundReaver2. This program allows you scan files within PS1 games where it can be played/extracted (you can find it here --> http://www.zophar.net/utilities/psxutil/...aver2.html)

How the process went:
The file in the game's root directory is called "WAD.WAD" (No it won't work on Doom), it's about 105 MB and the majority of is redundant samples. This also contains the voice samples but those won't be included in this package.

After scanning, there was about 2,420 samples in the WAD file. The samples are arranged in a manner in that each sample will be used in a stage of the game, which include the basics like those involving Spyro and the UI (that's where the majority of the redundancy comes from), the enemies and obstacles, and the voices from the dragons.

After painstakingly rooting through the 105MB mess I was able to extract nearly all sound effects (sans the voices) used in the game all neatly in aprox. 8MB.
