Right, I saved a couple of images onto my computer and they turn up lighter than what is shown on the topic.
It seems that Photoshop is adding some sort of gamma correction to your rips (apparently the source of what makes PNGs darker than they should). I don't know how to get rid of gamma correction in Photoshop since I never used it but how I got it removed was using Irfanview, resaved the image using the PNGOut plugin (this plugin optimises the PNG as much as possible without losing quality) and that got the gamma correction removed for some reason.
Also does the image above show up lighter than the other one in the topic?
