edit: also I still own vanilla on 360 so if anyone's still left behind in the distant past and wants help stepping up their game I can offer to help there as well
Dude that was in an interview WITH niituma. It was on Eventhubs as well as shoryuken.com. DOn't remember the name but just type in 58 niitsuma. But seriously, that lupinko nutriding has gotta stop. Well..... carry on.
okay, so 2 things
1) it's not 'nutriding' to say 'a guy who's been right every time will probably be a good source of info'
2) this interview? seriously? "we wanted to do more with this game" is something almost every game developer says about every project, that's hardly proof of another game already, once again, especially since I've heard absolutely zero people talk about this
what's next, when shiggy casually mentions in one interview how he wanted more levels in a mario game you're gonna wait for Super Mario: Ultimate Arcade Edition 2012? give me a break
1. Dont take it so seriously man
2. Um..
"Initially, the plan was to include 58 characters in UMvC3 in order to surpass Marvel vs. Capcom 2, but due to scheduling this was an impossibility. For those of you keeping score at home, UMvC3 will have 50 characters in it, if you include Shuma and Jill as DLC."
"The translator's impression from the article is that the higher-ups wanted this out by the end of the year (for Christmas), and Niitsuma and his team had to change their plans to accommodate this."
I never mentioned another game stop assuming things. I am just saying that we can expect more DLC down the road possibly if they are able to work on those 8 characters. Besides, in the case of Umvc3, that whole i wanted to do more actually carries some weight, considering the short amount of time they had to work on the sequel.
