Today I was able to extract the audio files from the PS1 version of SimCity 2000. Unlike my 2000+ files Spyro foray this on only has a much more manageable 54 files.
How the process went:
The sound files are located in a file called SC2K000.VAB in the SOUND folder. There are 54 files and most of them are from the PC version.
This rip also has the instruments used for the music (hopefully nobody will get into legal fits). I've also compiled the instruments into a SoundFont file for you to use on you favorite MIDI's/Compositions.
