You are right about the limitations of the SNES, I can only imagine what Mario Kart would have looked like had it been on the NES.
I dont mind sequel tracks either, but there dont need to be as many in each game. For example in Super Mario Kart there were 5 different Mario Circuit Tracks, and 4 Bowser Castles. Although I do like Bowser Castle tracks, it is probably better for them to do just 1, and make it superb like they did on GCN, Wii, and 3DS. But I wouldn't mind seeing 2 Ghost House tracks in a Mario Kart game.
