y'know, the concept of "roommates" is pretty magical

For a long while I considered a 3-way split with a friend and one of his friends on a 3-bedroom apartment, and once I added everything up I was able to -just barely- cover rent each month. After a 3-way split.
No food, no insurance or anything, nothing else.
Just rent.
And this is from pouring every cent I made into it.

I mean, I guess having a place to stay is great and all but then there's the whole starving aspect.

Unless there's some sort of super, super cheap places around here, it's not really do-able on the amount of money I make.
