HOW TO RIP ANIMAL CROSSING: WILD WORLD TEXTURES
Tools to Download:
NDS Editor v0.1
This will be used to dump the contents of the ROM image and decrypt Animal Crossing's LZ77 encrypted models.
Editor.rar from http://tahaxan.arcnor.com/index.php?opti...topic=66.0 (Tahaxan Forum account required)
NSBMD tool
This will be used to dump the decrypted textures.
Nsbmd.rar from http://tahaxan.arcnor.com/index.php?opti...188#msg188 (Tahaxan Forum account required.)
Glut32.DLL
The NSBMD tool needs this to operate.

Glut32.DLL
The NSBMD tool needs this to operate.
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-fi...tml?glut32
Step 1:
Extract the NDS Editor, and open Editor.exe. Click on "File", "Open", find the Animal Crossing: Wild World ROM, and open it. The game should then be in the program's list. Double-click on the game to open the File Browser. At the top of the File Browser, click the box with the check in it, "Select All". Click the yellow note ,"Extract All", dumping the contents into the folder the ROM you opened is in. Close the File Explorer, but keep Editor open.
Step 2:
Find the dumped folder and open it. Open the "data" folder- this is where all the models and textures are. We are going to start texture ripping with wallpaper, so open the "wall" folder. There will be a lot of ".nsbtx" files- these are textures. If you open one of these files in Notepad, you will notice that the first thing it says is "LZ77"- that means that it is LZ77 compressed. Create a new folder named "C". (It can be anything, but I name it the C folder)
Step 3:
Go back to Editor, click "Tools", and click "LZ Batch Decompress". For the "Source Files Folder", do the "wall" folder. For the "Output Folder" do the C folder you created. Click OK, and the C folder should be full of decrypted BTX files. Extract the NSBMD tool and Glut32.DLL to the C folder. In the folder's address bar, type in "C:\Windows\System32\CMD.EXE" and press Enter. A program should pop up. Type in "nsbmd -t wall_0.btx" and press Enter. Look back in the C folder, and "wall.bmp" should have been created. That's your texture. Type in "nsbmd -t wall_1.btx" and so on to convert more textures. Converting a new texture will replace the old one, so make sure to copy the old one before doing another. Repeat in different folders.
And there you have it, you're ripping Animal Crossing: Wild World textures!
Some NSBMD models already have textures inside them, so just use them like NSBTX files. If in notepad, the file doesn't have "LZ77", you do not need to LZ77 decompress it.
Big credit to Kiwi.DS for making both programs.
