I find Sonic CD odd. I don't like having to time travel to complete the game.
Sonic games are about speed, not complex level puzzles.
it's sort of hard to judge
at certain points, the game shows slight decency and/or hints of fun and it gets really fun to play. Unfortunately though, they don't last long and you're almost instantly thrown into one of the most frustrating things that you've ever played. For me, it ranges from below average to awful, but some people think it's great. You'll have to judge for yourself.
Probably just playing the first world will make you want to snap your disc in half because of how slow sonic runs and how annoying he is to control. Once you beat the first world though, his speed picks up and the game gets better. For a litle while.
