Bomberman Hero's soundtrack went for something more... drum and bass, which is good but not as classic as the Super Bomberman tracks.
In fact, Super Bomberman's music were just remixed tracks from TG-16 Bomberman games. Give it a listen:
I like Jun Chikuma's affinity to middle eastern/asiatic music, it's somewhat mystic and catchy as hell.
I also love NON and Nazo Nazo Suzuki's music. They compose for Treasure games, which has great soundtracks:
(I suggest checking the games' whole soundtracks. I didn't link to any Mischief Makers one because I am not fond of its music myself)
Finally Masahiro Ikariko. He, along with others, are responsible for a lot of old Konami game music:
