Very cool! I'll have to find a savestate that has 105%...

I don't have a savestate, but I do have codes:
7E05 3C80

It works for the European ROM but what it does is trick the game into thinking you have TUFST activated on a new game. You'll still have your original percent (which will probably be 103%) but it enables Immortal Monkey, which is enough if you want the sprites but not the glory.
