There's no problem if you go over the 4 frame limit, as long as it doesn't look out of place compared to the rest.
Yep, I see that. I was kind of going for a character who was sort of... bored at the whole thing, and wasn't really paying attention, hence the slightly more casual walk (actually based on Yuri Lowell's in-battle walk in Tales of Vesperia). However, it's your game, and if you want me to change it, then I'm all too happy to do so.
I realise that, but I also know how I can get a reasonably human walk animation without more than four frames, so I had no real need to go over the limit. If, in the new walk animation, that becomes necessary, then I will.
Thanks for the comments. I won't be able to fix this just yet, but I may be able to have a stab at it later today.
