While we're on the topic of Meta Knight, you guys got to check this out:



This is Meta Knight's cape as it is thrown off of him at the beginning of battle.

If you look really close at it ... doesn't this just look like someone took the cape from Nightmare in Dream Land and poorly resized it in MSpaint?

Yet this is how the cape actually looks in the game.

Lazy bastards.

I know! I got so pissed off when I discovered that while playing the game. I was really excited about being able to have those sprites, too. :\

It's not just his cape -- I know his entire defeat/retreat animation (at the very least the parts where you only see his cape) was done the same way. I can't remember whether or not his intro animation had it done, as well.
