Well, considering the project's somewhat modeled after Mortal Kombat/Marvel vs Capcom, It's tricky in a sense.
THIS was meant for fun, and I wanted to try out a new technique while I was at ecuador. I ended up having to heavily alter the shading to fit with the style.. And THAT took me a lot of tries.
This is my problem with most sprite styles, it has to be at a -certain- consistancy in order to be on-par with the other fighters (same can be said for Modern Genesis, and I just couldn't get it to look right). Nicktendo got it in the bag because of the simplicity of the character "Bouncy Cat". Not ALL fighters are perfect/the same you know. I mean, Skullgirls would still find some new flaw in the genre to exploit since they don't have infinities anymore, and that's saying something.
