How do you swap images? I've never heard of such a thing... wouldn't you have to replace the link to get the image to change?

Basically, the URL leads to a server who does not reply with an actual file, but instead redirects to a different URL which then leads to a file. Servers can do magical things, yes. It is also possible for a server to dynamically create new images every time, like Sloganizer does, with said images not appearing as real files on their harddrives.
Internet is all about protocols and computers communicating with each other. Imagine you ask someone for a photo of themselves and they give you a photo of their handsome friend instead.

It would at least help if I have a program that will at least tell me the frame rate of every frame so I can have it exactly the way it was before I shrunk it, but no I don't know of any that do.

But... but PGA does! Select a frame and visit the "Frame #"-Tab, the "Duration" value is right there on the right side!
