Wasn't the Dreamcast the most powerful system on the market for a year? Honestly if SEGA did make a console, it would probably beat all other consoles in the power department. Since they had a track record of having more powerful consoles at the time of release. But yes, SEGA's console division died mostly because the Dreamcast was released a year before the PS2 and the PS2 was much more appealing to people at the time.

This is a good way to think about it. Don't bash it before you try it, but not saying it's the best thing in the universe and I must have it. I'd like to hear what you think of it after you try the demo.
