no I am aware of that, I'm just making reference to the fact that, that is about all the average person can do, is hold up a camera and take shots. 
Though a cheap way to do it would be to get a sheet for a solid background and a lazy Suzann to put the object on and a tripod to hold the camera. 8D might work almost as good.
