Leaving the Internet

For complicated reasons I'll be taking a temporary-to-permanent leave from the internet. I don't know if I'll return or not, but the answer is: I'm going to try not to. It seems to me that I've become actively addicted to the internet to the point where I just don't do anything anymore, and I really just can't do that.

So I guess you can all start throwing confetti now.

i'm just not addicted, i just have literally no social life IRL because there's no one in my neighborhood to socialize with. if i did hell i'd just be playing videogames at their house.
i actively try to hang out with people; the only downside is that most of my friends are girls who frequently misconstrue it as me asking them out on a date

simple guide to breaking your "addiction":

-make a schedule of the things you're gonna do that day
-do them
-in free time, use the internet
-moderate your time with an egg timer

my parents (oh wow) insist that i'm addicted but once they realize that's the field i'm going into and then i fix their computers in mere minutes for free
they shut up and just kind of accept it

and quite honestly: my online friends always want to play videogames and then i get sucked into like 5 games of league of legends, and there goes my entire night
