Sometimes, you just want to have some nice random smalltalk. I don't consider a forum to be "a better version of chats", it's a different pair of shoes.
We do have a handful of members popping in at times lately. It's always worth a shot, you never know who you'll meet.
Anyways, there are IRC clients for Android and iOS, I think. Those should work.
On a sidenot, marketing is an important topic. People don't know about the chat. Many themes do not have the chat button on the top any more. I've never seen a TSR chat who has been properly promoted by management. If it wasn't for my sig, we wouldn't have had most of our visitors (including Mighty Jetters).
