I think Nintendo forgot how to create new characters

Skyward Sword *cough* *cough*
Full of originality and a new experience.
Also, Sega kept adding characters to Sonic and most people thought it became over saturated with dull new characters. As long Nintendo keeps up with fresh experiences for their titles, I don't need new characters, as I love the ones they have.
