Technically "ラド" is correct, but it's kind of lame, because it's literally pronounced "rado", and is just a transliteration of the english word "rad" into the Japanese phonetic writing system for foreign words.
As for the actual translation, I have no clue; but "すばらしい" translates to "awesome", if that's close enough. Google Translate says "素晴らしい" is a more complex way of writing it (Kanji), but I would be hesitant to trust it; I'm not that advanced in Kanji :U
