Well, people are gonna type how they want, and I guess despite whether or not you like it you still pretty much get the point so I guess it doesn't do much good saying anything about it.
I do agree with him on capitalization being a personal preference though, especially since I'm one of those perfectionist people, hence why you never ever see me not capitalizing or punctuating something properly (yeah I know, that's generally not typical of 16 year olds) unless I'm doing it entirely on purpose for the sake of joking or whatever.
TLDR: I don't actually care how people type as long as they can spell decently enough because that's just how it goes, they're going to type how they want to at the time so in reality you really can't change that even if it bothers you.
