I assume you mean "radical" as in "totally awesome" or "sweet"

it original use was in anime, the word "kakkoii" is basically "cool" as in an extremely suave character ("stylin", handsome), but can also be likened to "Badass!" or "So awesome!"
it's basically the male version of "kawaii". so yeah,

格好良いね～ - kakkoii ne~ - He's so cool~! / How dreamy~ (japanese schoolgirl daydreaming about boy, lets out a hearty sigh)
格好良い でしょう？ - kakkoii deshou? - he's cool, don't you think?

the kanji that make up "kakkoii" mean "good, pleasing, character". fricken use that.

as an alternative, there's also the weeaboo word "sugoi" 凄い
but not many people know that if you use only the 凄 character, it means "horrible", "weird", or "threatening"
so you probably don't want to use that unless you have an evil side that's a lecherous pervert
