Sup, everybody.

Hey and welcome to the Resource, BTK69!

That's quite a list of consoles you got there. I haven't a clue with ISOs but I could probably give you a hand with getting sprites and sounds from Nintendo DS games. Still, I'd recommend taking a look at a few tutorials if you haven't done so yet, they aren't there for nothing Wink

Most of the time the only real option for getting sprites is disabling layers on your emulator, taking screenshots, and getting the images onto sheets. That's what I do with most games, and if you're planning to do multiple games you'll most likely have to do so with more than one of them. However if you're fairly experienced with your favourite image editing program (Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET, whatever), you shouldn't have too much trouble.
On the other hand, some games may be kind enough to allow you to rip straight from the ROM. This is definitely the road to take whenever possible, since it gives you the most complete sheets, and is often much faster too. It's also practically the only way to get sounds, since (as far as I know) recording them is rarely, if ever, accepted. Whatever the case, you should get Tinke for sure if you're planning to do anything with Nintendo DS. It might not always do the job, but it could well save you a lot of screenshotting.

If you want any details don't hesitate to PM me. magentacyanyellow is also a pro at NDS ripping (much more so than me) so you can ask him as well.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here, and good luck with your ripping!
You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call "failure" is not the falling down, but the staying down. -Mary Pickford
