Realize this:
There was only Classic Pit when Brawl came out and it already had Uprising Pit years before that game came out.
In other words: When a character is added to the Smash roster, expect the most recent design.
I presonally don't care which version is better; not a Castlevania fan. I am disappointed to hear Heihachi (or any other Tekken character) might not be included, since me and especially my brother are fans of the Tekken franchise, Tekken 3 specifically.

Pac-Man is Namco's icon. A whole cast appeared in the Mario Kart Arcade GP games.
These two are solid candidates to add to the roster. Maybe Klonoa too, because he kinda fits (never played the games, though).
I myself can't think of any other Namco character to be in it.
This is not PS All-Stars Battle Royale, so why worry? Majority is Nintendo anyways, just with a little bit more 3rd party than last game. Brawl proved it's comprehendable.
Speaking of Namco: Item idea. A Power Pill that causes opponents to flash and be extra vulnerable to being sent flying.
Heiachi is now in PS battle royale
Not that relevant. In Smash Bros., models aren't just slapped onto a stage. Everything fits anything with a little work. That is why Toon Link wasn't cell-shaded.
