The whole gun-law conversation never ends. There's a pro and con to every point made, and in the end, the debate is futile for the argument of restriction due to your amendments.
I have my opinion on the matter, but I know it's both right and wrong. I'm sure everybody posting here also knows that their points are both right and wrong.
It's such a tough situation to come up so late in the country's development that it will never change, because it would cause HUGE outrage.
So the argument for guns will have to win the fight, because you have a piece of paper that agrees with you, and that's more that can be said for the other opinion.
I'd also like to chime in and say, we in the UK also have the "gangster" teens scene going on, don't think it's just the US. We just have more knife crime because knives don't need a licence and can be bought in Poundland.
