What movie did you just watch?

Little Shop of Horrors (1986 version). Awww yeah, felt like watching something I haven't seen in AGES~ (saw it when I was a kid on a movie channel once, if I remember)

Still keeping an eye on the 'apparent' coming soon blu-ray release with the original ending restored (in colour).

+ Batman. To 100% avoid spoilers I'm putting my opinion in a spoiler tag, even though it has no REAL spoilers in it, just so nothing at all is spoiled. So don't click it if you haven't seen it.

Know I'm going to get shunned for saying it, but well - I didn't think it was brilliant. It was good but it was just so predictable that anyone with even the smallest bit of Batman knowledge (Bane, No Man's Land, The Dark Knight Returns, Ra's al Ghul) has very little surprises waiting them. I don't think it was as good as The Dark Knight Returns (which is what it should have been aiming to beat) and although it used a rich background of Batman history I don't think it did anything creative enough with them to make it it's own thing. Instead it felt more like it just borrowed various bits and put them together, but they never really melded. I'm guessing people who don't know Batman very well will really enjoy it but as soon as the words "clean energy" were spoken I guessed the whole damn plot. I also found the whole Bruce and Cat Woman relationship rather poor as well. Why would he be so trusting, especially now, it's almost as if he gets his trust in her from knowing he should trust her from previous Batman works - which of course makes no sense. His trust in her just felt unnatural to me. Will now accept your hate PMs.
