also steel does have a weakness fire,water and ground, types pwn steel with super effective attacks, so sadly steel types in this series actually don't have balls of steel -.-

steel takes neutral damage from water
water pokemon just resister steal type attacks

Also, I should point out that you can like a type for its own specific attributes instead of just because your favorite pokemon is that type.
I like fighting because of how perfectly it fits on every pokemon's move set.
Also as someone who usually play offensively fighting types moves really appeal because of there high power high risk nature.
