A few things:
It's cool that you're using Metroid Zero Mission's graphics (honestly, the most stylized of the 2D metroid games) but you may consider getting a pixelartist onboard to help you create new assets.
Things I liked: Physics of wall jumping, morph ball feel perfectly spot on. You had either a good base or you're a talented programmer, because you implemented Samus' physics remarkable well.
I wish you didn't use the physics from Zero Mission, though (arguably the worst in the series)
