It's a Mighty Day!

Okay so, not a lot happened today, but what DID happen was:

First we went in BestBuy because I wanted to try on headphones to bring some back, but they had barely anything there, and the only pair that fit well was some Bose phones which we didn't get because of cost.

Next we went to eat like we always do. For the first time (for me anyway) we went to Applebees, and I've always wanted to try those chicken salads with fruit, so I got one, and it was really good except that I had never tried blue cheese before. And so... I now know that I cannot stand it. It was WAY too strong tasting and on top of not even being that hungry when we went in, I couldn't even finish the salad. Of course I also shared some mozzarella sticks with my cousin too (he went with us), and I got an Oreo cookie milkshake. I'm really not thrilled about the fact that that's all I could eat because I usually go to town at restaurants. It was because Mom was kinda pushing us to go because we needed to get milk and my cake and it was really hot and stuff. We brought our meals (except for me) and the mozzy sticks with us and then finally went to Wal-Mart.

There we looked for more headphones but again found nothing that worked (or even that much at all). We then went to look at the games selection. There wasn't anything there that I wanted/didn't already have except for PokéPark Wii 2: Wonders Beyond, but I didn't get it because I didn't have the prequel. Obviously I want to have played/owned the first one before the sequel. Then we went to get my birthday cake. I chose this (somewhat small) strawberry and cream ice cream cake. It looks so delectable, I can't wait to try it. We also got a second larger vanilla and chocolate ice cream cake since there won't be enough of my cake for everyone. We also grabbed a few Slim Jims and two bars of Hershey's chocolate for me and my cousin, two bottles of flavored milk (chocolate for me, strawberry for my cousin), and uh, just a couple things we needed. We got very little. I saw those little randomized Mario Kart Wii Lego character figure packs, and I would have liked to have had Yoshi since I have Luigi but since you can't tell for sure what you're gonna get we decided to leave them be for now since there wasn't much money.

And so, we are now home (and have been for a while). I got sick a couple times because of my car sickness/motion sickness issue and coming out of the restaurant I was afraid I was actually going to lose my lunch, and I was trying really hard to relax and hold it in. Turns out it was just... gas. :I

Either way it was better than staying home. Yet another nice birthday. I haven't actually received any gifts yet but I will. Mom decided that she probably will order those stereophone clips I originally asked for that she had denied before after all.

So with that ends my 17th birthday venture. This is my last year before I... *gulp* grow up...

But yeah, thank you so much for your incredible birthday wishes everyone. It means the world to me. I literally felt like getting up and jumping around in pure joy reading a lot of your posts. Seriously, you have no idea how excited and loved they made me feel. And thank you A.J. for making the thread for me. You are a frickin' radular dude. I love you all. ♥
