Like the rules say,,,,, no sufficient progress available, no thread in this section. This section is for large sprite projects which already are large sprite projects.
Once you have something to show, give me (or any of my fellow friendly mod comrades) a call to get this reopened, alright?
Until then, I'd recommend using a topic in the parent category (doesn't mean others wouldn't be able to join in).
Moreover, you may want to reconsider the "8-bit" rule and replace it with something actually specific and less misinterpreted
