The Portraits/Mugshots ripping project

Sadly at the moment unable to have any interesting rips so I had to make do with Spoiler Sports Games Batch Numbero Tres. I'm sorry for not explaining the other two spoilered posts:

Davis Cup World Tour (Genesis)

EA tennis game before Grand Slam Tennis (no relation to the one below) on the Wii that has an FM cover of the song Unbelieveable as the title theme. No joke. I thought that it was complete until I checked the ROM using a Hex editor out of curiousity. It turned out to be that 16 players are unused and did a check and they there were.

Grand Slam/Jennifer Capriati Tennis (Genesis)



Japanese tennis game, probably inspired by either Super Tennis on the SNES or one of the PC Engine ones. The Japanese version is in Japanese text, the European version is a translated version and the American version changes the name and adds an ugly title screen. Oddly enough, the European version and the American version have Capriati as the default player while the Japanese version has some male person (Capriati is actually female player 10 in that version).

Wimbledon (Genesis)



That's most of the tennis games on the system done. The only two that aren't done are Davis Cup 2 that is an early prototype with only two mugshots done at the time of development and the original Pete Sampras Tennis doesn't have any at all. Oh and I might as well mention the rest of the sports games that I'm going to do or progress before it is enough and move on to something else.

Barkley Shut Up and Jam (Genesis) - Sadly it isn't the Gaiden RPG that people love but a basketball game. I'm a bit stumped on the random palettes that the portraits have (sometimes they are in purple or red or black). I'll figure something out.

Barkley Shut Up and Jam 2 (Genesis) - It should be doable, much easier than the original. Also the prototype version actually has Charles Barkley in it compared to the final.

Muhammed Ali Boxing (Genesis) - I had to abandon the rip since in the game, the boxers get injured and their portrait reflects that. The injuries I couldn't find in the ROM at all. Feel free to take over the rip that I've started.

There are other boxing games on the system but whether they are going to be ripped is a case by case scenario.

Golfamania (Master System) - As far as I'm aware, it might be the only Master System golf game with mugshots since sports games around that era don't have them. Very doable.

Tennis Ace (Master System) - Port of the arcade Passing Shot, one of I think of the three tennis games that have mugshots (the other two being Andre Agassi Tennis and Wimbledon, both games I ripped the Genesis versions of and I think there's Wimbledon II as well). Should be doable.

SNES games I'm not too sure about. The tennis side apart from Jimmy Connor's Tennis, Super Tennis and Smash Tennis also appeared on the Genesis (the International one is actually Davis Cup). The golf side don't know much about. Boxing, apart from Super Punch-Out!! that Solink has already ripped most of them are also on the Genesis except two and one is a Spanish localisation.
