STAB = Same Type Attack Bonus
If a Pokemon uses a move which matches their typing, their base attack damage gets a FIFTY PERCENT boost (and 100% with the Adaptability ability!)

I'm only up to Roxy's gym because this week IRL is hell week ):
And is it only me or do a lot of people spend like a half hours trying to figure out what to name themselves?
