Love this band, and this song contains one of my favorite lines ever, "So you can win the ratrace, but you're still nothing but a fucking rat."
It really drives home how I feel about my biological dad. He's so worried about being financially successful that he kind of forgets how to be a good dad and just tries dragging me into every business he gets into, when if he'd just stop and think he'd see I'm taking the path in life I want to. Yeah musicians don't make much, and hey I'm not guaranteed a spot in the gaming business, but it's what I love to do so just accept that. whew that got personal.
