What was Nintendo's golden decade?

Im not sure im even interested in modern games

older games have so much more creativity and soul in them

i have no clue what decade was nintendo's most golden, i never had an original nintendo or super nintendo, i had a sega genesis, i even skipped out on the N64 because the PS1 had wildly better offerings, with a few exceptions like Mischief Makers. I guess i'd have to say, on the one era i actually experienced, was the one with the most gamecube titles.
