I disagree with Bowser and Bowser jr being playable for these reasons.
Bowser has been the villain for too long to be changed.
Bowser would go easy on Bowser jr. giving the user an advantage against him.

Maybe they're just gonna profit off of Mario Party 8. I suppose that game sells well with the little kid/casual family demographic. It's the same reason why they aren't gonna turn out a New Super Mario Bros. 2, or a Nintendogs 2

Please note thet made Mario party DS and I don not about New super mario bros. 2
