first of all, I'm having trouble in what perspective he's supposed to be at. Is it isometric? Is it 3/4 view? The pose is awkward and makes it kinda ambiguous for me. To tell if a pose is good, try mimicking the character and stand the same way he is. If it is uncomfortable for you, chances are it'll be for him too. Try a more natural pose. Flipping the drawing also reveals balance issues, so try it (if you still can't see it, he's leaning back way too much.
His anatomy is broken in several places due to the weird pose, buy you appear to have notion od jagged lines and colors. Just be aware about the random selout (broken outlines in places such as near his chin). It's better to either outline it fully OR not outline at all. I'd also try to simplify his hair a bit, as it's a mess of pixel clusters with some banding (banding is when a darker color follows the outline. It can be bad if in excess; see his hidden arm for another example of it).
Otherwise, I don't see any glaring problems. Many of the terms and definitions can be seen in the Sprite Dictionary thread sticked in this section, so give it a look. I hope to see more from you.
