you can get a stand-alone version of it by simply googling XP MS Paint, it's not that hard to find. I could send you a copy of it but it's in portuguese.
Another way is to find a XP computer, open its WINDOWS folder and find the actual exe, copy it into a flash drive and voilà
you can't replace 7paint for XP paint though, so you'll need to boot it up manually everytime, but it's worth it since it gets rid of all the listed problems above
