Seriously, give it 2 hours, and 8 is as good as or maybe even better than 8. You can get free programs which add the start button back, it turns on and shuts dow much quicker than 7 (wakes from sleep instantly, turns on from physical power button to desktop loaded in 10 seconds flat.). No thrid party USB3 drivers that slow down your system as extra processes, the latest version of IE (I use chromium anyway, but for M$ die-hards its there), and will support all new current programs for years to come. (bearing in mind 7 can't even run IE10, what other new programs wont run on 7?)
I do agree if you already have 7 its probably quite not worth ugrading yet, wait until later in the year, unless you buy a new Pc ofc, but if your pc comes with 8, stick with it, and if you run Vista (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!) or XP, you really need to buy a new PC :/
