I guess I could work with what the style I currently have, as long as I can try to stay within the M&L rpg style.
If I do decide to use my own style, I will definatly have to work with it a bit longer. I am going to be making a fangame(well, actually remaking, the first one failed miserably) with this, so there really isn't a limitation for the style, as long as it resembles the mario and luigi rpg series

and actually, you're sort of right there Jetaku...
well, following up what you said about the difference in styles, it's probably slightly cleaner because there is more contrast and/or less colors for each area needed(wario may of had more colors, but the variation is much different than mario)
the original pallette was just a color change to mario, and there are still a few colors that remained
